It’s that though we learn from our mistakes we’re condemned,
To make those same mistakes
again and again.

She listened to every word he spoke carefully. There was no room to be playing around, her orbs never left his. Her gaze was stone cold, and face was an expressionless mask. However she did feel a tingle of excitement as he mentioned the rat's memories. She didn't speak straight away though wondering how it was best to describe her ability. She would be able to help him, do exactly what he needed to her to do..but why? What had this scumbag seen? She couldn't help it, her eyes flickered down to the traitor on the ground. She looked over his body and wondered what was hidden behind those red pupils. What was her family keeping from her? Most of all why would removing this stop the Basin's destruction? Arah knew full well that she was bound by duty to serve the Basin in any need, even if she didn't know why. Her eyes found the Menders again and she transformed her face to hold a smug smile, in order to cover up the curiosity and questions burning around inside her. "Do you believe in luck doctor?" She asked seriously. "I have the ability you need." A slightly crazy giggle tumbled from her lips. "I'll remove his memories of this..." What did he call it...Plague? "Plague group."

Arah wasn't stupid. He said ask no more. So she looked him dead in the eyes before nodding her head. She would ask no more, no matter how much she wanted to. Suspicion raised in her but she looked away before he could see it. "Can you do it?" this caused another giggle to tumble from her lips. She removed herself from his side and walked over to the now standing prisoner. She ready herself by taking a deep breath and summoning her magic. At first she stroked it gently, waking it up from it's slumber. Then the power rose with her, and Arah new she was ready."Traitor!" She spoke to him loudly and caught his eyes within her golden gaze. There was nothing the rat could do. He was locked into her eyes, the magic was holding him within her gaze, his memories now was her toy. The world around them seemed to freeze, the only thing that mattered to both of them was their locked gazes. Like partners on a romantic trip admitting their love for each other, The rat would not be able to look away. She had become his mistress.

Her entire body had changed, she was relaxed and calm, in her element. A smile played along her lips as she wove her magic around Valentine's mind and her own. Then softly, as quiet as a whisper, she spoke to him. "The Plague, it is not real." She smiled, her voice was confident. He would have no choice but to believe her. "Forget everything you ever believed about them, it never happened, in fact nothing ever happened, for all you can remember is a blackness." A deep breath to collect herself, her gaze did not break though. "All you can remember, is a blackness whenever you try to think about the Plague. Because they are not real, you will never need to speak or remember the group, because it's not real." Repetition worked well. Drove the message home.

She was finished, positive that he would no longer remember anything about this group. She blinked once and the world around them rightened as their gaze split. "That was a huge thing I made him forget, he'll be confused...might even need an escort out. But everything is gone, he'll never remember anything about your group." She chuckled, pride swelled through her. She was on a high from using her magic, which still swirled around her. Then she smirked at the prisoner and bowed her head towards the Time Mender. It was time to make her exit. Like a hunter walking away with a kill in hand, she strutted away from the group. She stopped after putting a fair amount of distance between them and turned back to the Doctor. "I say this with respect Doctor, be gentle with your toy. His mind is currently fragile and would not be able to withstand any torture." She smiled and glanced towards the rat. "Not that I really care if you choose to, by all means go ahead. However you'd be returning a tree stump to Kri." She dipped her antlers respectfully and turned around to continue on her merry way.

And I ain't afraid to die, I’m afraid of going to hell.
