Thank you, Sage. A swift, elegant nod of the head is given in return, with solemn eyes. The pain which comes with a definite loss at least comes with closure, something the family had been missing for years. While the former Captain was always pleased to aid them when possible, it pained her to see the weary lines of their face for even a moment. The drawn, uncomfortable silence fills the air for a moment, until the golden beauty strikes fire back into the hearts of the twins. It appeared the brothers grimm were just as fast to jump into matters of the herd as she, something for which Sage was thankful. Nothing pissed her off more than having to beat around the bush with ninnies. |
