I hear my sister scream, and I stop still. I stare at her for a moment. A sliver of white showing in my eyes. But, before I could say or react, other than getting back on all four feet, I was catapulted sideways into a dark tree. My left flank taking the damage hard. My eyes turn to the figure, and its moreof a silhouette at this point. I slowly sink into the ground. My knees buckle under me with the slightest of ease. My legs frozen on the snowy flakes. I was in a very awkward position, might I add.

My body wet and cold from the snow, I start shaking tremendously. I sunk into the snow about half a foot, so the snow definitely makes me colder. My head slowly lowers into the ground. Maybe I'd stay here for a while. Would they really hurt a near two year old further? Slouching on the ground, with my head stretched out and layed out on the snow, my orbs glance up at the black stallion. He is big and I am sure of that. My flank is sore, and it is cut. The tree I so gracefully was flung into had a sharp branch that managed to get two inches or so into me.

I had no idea how to block horse's attacks yet. Playing with other foals was in good fun, but this was much different. I'd been slammed by a full grown stallion. I was still very much growing, and I had weaker bones and I was obviously less muscled. I was in a slight shock, and everything seemed frozen, all but my crazy shivering.
