ORANGEMOON :: Year Eight
 ORANGEMOON cools off the lands with a a viscious force. Colder than normal, a sign of things to come during Frostfall, Helovia is bathed in a rich tropical lushness - albiet a cold one. The coastlines of the Dragon's Throat are pelted constantly by tidal waves, and the desert climate is humid but chilly. Ice begins to form early in the Aurora Basin leaving the winding trails slick and dangerous. The mists of the World's Edge coat everything in a glistening crystalline shine which encourages mould to grow everywhere. The Spectral Marsh is the only area which remains fertile, blissfully temperature and lush.

WEAVER, Corporal of the Aurora Basin, is a relatively recent addition to Helovia and has taken it by storm. Branded with the seal of Death on her chest, intrigue and interest follow both her past and present. Though she is assuredly beautiful, her sometimes sharp personality reveals that there is more to this uni-peg hybrid than meets the eye. Proving herself able on the battlefield in the Basin’s warrior ranks, we can’t wait to see her test her mettle against the looming Kaos happenings! Congratulations! |

FAIL - this one was a bit iffy for me, I really felt torn both ways, but I went with fail because although to me it was an obvious color reference, I wouldn't have thought to look at the parents based on this line alone and I'd consider what the father has passed on as well. Especially since white genes are not as strong so just having a white parent doesn't imply majority white children. FAIL - I love love love your non-traditional unicorn reference, and once explained it made perfect sense, but there wasn't enough of that to guide me to that answer prior to reveal because I was still thinking color not other traits/species. PASS - The saying itself definitely made me think of lineage/history which was spot on here. Magic ref: He also has magic that involves blood. PASS - Definitely the blood once more helps point to Sacre and his blood magic, but blood alone wouldn't have made me consider this, however since his blood magic has to do with dehydration I associate it with water which again works with this particular phrasing. Appearance ref: He has a blood marking on his flank. PASS - Love the color ref and with the saying making me think of lineage kinda goes hand in hand with color coming from family genetics and stuff. I agree with Blu on the first clue. However, I can neither pass nor fail this because as I was trying to figure it out, I DID think that the character would be a unicorn with "non-traditional" features (ie no lion tail or cloven hooves or beard).
Blood magic and marking clue was awesome, so I pass this one. Robert, I pass this one. I typed in "Sacre" and it immediately popped up with a bio on "Robert Sacre Basketball Player Robert Sacre is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. A dual citizen of both the United States and Canada, he has played for the Canadian national basketball team.". Unfortunately, that makes only 2/3, so this stealth would fail.
