I MADE A THRONE FOR HOPE TO SIT.</style>

Cold.
I just feel cold.

It is dark, but is it not always dark these days? Still, I feel like my eyes are glued shut. My skull is pounding. I cannot seem to remember what happened. Like a flash, my world in the shadows of the great flame were gone, replaced with the dark world.

I want to yell. I want to scream. I want to lift up my limbs and run back home. Home... no, I am no longer at home. Am I dying? This is entirely possible. A strong, unexpected whack to the poll would send me flying to my maker or my damnation. From the evils which had plagued my life, the dark secrets of my life, I fear that death would usurp me in something other than the icy chill I am feeling. Hellfire, dragon's breath, possibly some incredibly horrid universe where I am forced to stand side by side with Morgue for all eternity.

No, I think I am alive. I can feel the pounding of my heart through the violent shudders of my brain. Whatever the hell knocked me out was enough to leave me with a nasty ache in my mind; that's for sure.

I am only partially aware that I am laying down, my knees tucked uncomfortably underneath me, my wings splayed like cold statues by my side. I flicker open my eyelids in time, breathing in the harsh scent of pine. Before I can even articulate what I am seeing, I know. A nasty scowl grows on my masculine features and I growl angrily in displeasure. The fucking North. The Basin. I was likely conked over the head or drugged and dragged here on my ass for god knows how long. That would explain the rather immense scraping along my sides and the soreness of my limbs.

Scrambling to my feet, I grit my teeth against the pain and shake my head. I can see little aside from the dusting of snow and pine needles, but Psyche's stench permeates the air. "Just my fucking luck," I say, glancing about to try and generate an understanding of my circumstances. At least I was not badly broken, so escape was not out of the question.
Especially with a raging fire burning in my heart.

[ First prisoner post.
I request this thread be kept to Faelene and higher ups of the herd if possible, as I don't want it to be crowded. :U ]

i don't want to think about it

It was a lot of working dragging the Commander of the Throat back. She wasn't the lightest thing since she wasn't awake. Unable to change circumstances, she merely carried on, knowing home was close. Hoping that her latest endeavor might again put a hold on this mess or at least return those taken home.

While things hadn't quite gone to plan, Kri was mostly intact. Mostly, being unlike some Faelene hadn't removed her wings. (So far wasn't planning to) Though sadly she was going to be missing feathers either way. This wasn't quite the way she wanted to do this, but she didn't pass up a perfect opportunity. It had happened in a strange way. While Faelene could summon her magic it had malfunctioned, so instead of a shield for her it had shoved itself away from her with dramatic force, knocking the dust colored leader out cold. One side of things it was pretty ironic this was what it had came down to, and yet well maybe it was twisted ways of fate that Kri have her own special visit among the unicorns.

They reached the forest of the Basin, Faelene stopped, liking the cover of the evergreens. The dark mare didn't want her bombarded. While the leader might think she was a prisoner (which was true) Faelene liked to think of her as their special guest she was protecting.

Still the blood maned should probably be worried when her prisoner came to, but she wasn't afraid of Kri. When she noticed life beginning to flicker, she was actually relieved. It was not in her intentions to give the Throat back a beat up Pegasus...not exactly. Silver eyes peered down, like a black liquid looking for light. "I can see why you would think that," she murmured, " but unless you make this harder than it is, you shouldn't be staying long." Faelene spoke matter-of-factly, giving a flick of her red tail. That was the truth, and Faelene wasn't about to "feed her to the wolves" unless that became necessary. The Thief lowered her voice, speaking for Kri's ears alone. "Besides there is one of yours that needs to go home with you. I haven't convinced her, but I thought you could. See, I helped her to get here, but since she failed her quest it's like her spark went out...."

ooc;if someone would like to join perhaps after Kri and Faelene posts again please?

I MADE A THRONE FOR HOPE TO SIT.</style>

From the darkness, a voice rings out. Vision still blurry around the periphery, I did not notice the crimson maned shadow standing protectively over me. Instead, as I tilt my head in her direction, along with the throbbing of my head, a bit of my memory comes back. I had been approaching her in the Throat to investigate her reasoning for being within my borders when suddenly an invisible force blew me backward. I narrow my eyes at her, wondering her intentions, though her voice was almost calming in intent.

Still, I immediately tense my muscles in the defensive, holding my body ready to handle any attacks that may be launched at me. My current mental state would likely leave me a bit of a horrid fighter, but hopefully my training would carry me home safely on chocolate wings.

"I will be forward with you," I am not hostile, but certainly less than happy. "My cooperation will stay as long as no attempts on my life are made. Otherwise, you had better hope your skills of capture work as well when I am fully aware of your intents." Taking note of her caution, I lower my voice for only her ears, my words illuminated mainly through the movement of a velveteen muzzle. "As for my kin, if her heart is willing, I can escort her home safely. However, I will not force one of my own home any sooner than I would force them out."

[ Athena has been put back UFA by Brit, so... I'm not sure how this will work out IC. xD ]

ooc;um i'll ask her if either way it can be assumed athena made it back to the throat. >.> i had no idea.

if anyone wants to join do so now :P or i think if it's ok with boom we will wrap it up...whatever you would like to do.

Smoothly, she pulls herself backward the bare minimum of giving the Resolute enough space, air to breathe. There wasn't enough for a strike, or to separate them if someone should barge their way onto the shadowed talk. A little for her to adjust, especially after the circumstances. While it was chilly to Faelene, it must be freezing to her. Again, she had no blanket to offer, and didn't think she should try to share her warmth. It was to take one step at a time, and shelter was their next stop. A little warmer than in the wind that wrapped its way down stoney sides.

"I only plan to retain you best I can without pain. I hadn't meant to be so direct in the first place," the red maned assured her. There was no skipping a beat, or change to her silver irises. The truth was always easy to tell, and Faelene often stuck with it. One didn't always need a mask, and bag of sweet lies. No, Faelene did things a lot differently. "And in the mean time we can hope we don't have unannounced guests who aren't either of our friends." The Thief murmured, giving a scrutinizing stare to the winged Commander to simply see if she was retaining information, or if she by chance looked like she pass out. She seemed to be okay, willing to hopefully take miss "Ari" home. For now, that would have to wait. "Very well, but lets get you out of the chill, and you can sleep with one eye open til then." With the faintest grin, and a sense some things wrong might be set right, Faelene waited to fall in step with her prisoner, leading her to the caves of the Basin.
