Birdsong. Was life going to get any better? The lightly shaded mare had left the foothills and had wondered into Heavenly Feilds, as a result the first flowers of the season had tangled into the end of her tail, however she didn't care. The weather was so much warmer, all around her the world was waking up again. She could barely contain her excitement, quickly and nimbly she wondered through the flowers sniffing at different ones that caught her attention. A chuckle slipped from her lips, as she watched a bird take flight near by. What was it like to actually fly? Was it unless freedom or did you just grow used to the open skies?

The dame wondered deeper into the fields, different scents filled her nostrils, oh how fantastic it was to finally be in the new season. The old one seemed to have lasted forever. Under the gentle moonlight the doe continued on her cheerful path through the fields. Hana was so captivated by the beauty of the beauty of the land, that she did not notice the melting snow. Melting on the side on the hills, snow changed to water, ground and solid earth changed to loose and slippery mud. The happy go lucky's hooves wondered where ever she pleased, not believing that anything bad could happen to her in such a beautiful moment. The snow that rushed down the hill was almost silent, however in the dark the mare could not pin point exactly where it was. The careful footsteps didn't help, she stepped into the quickly moving stream and before she really knew what she was doing, her footing was lost.

Over and over she tumbled, straight down the hill. No matter how much she tried to catch herself, she failed. Panic filled her body, but finally her body thudded to a stop. She began a still pile at the bottom of a muddy stream. Her mind didn't seem to be able to think straight. So instead she just laid there, waiting for her mind to work.

Or for someone to find her.
