The center of the spine is adorned with sharp spikes, hidden within a line of long, silky hair that also covers the upper legs, chest, belly and underside of the tail. Hair also covers the lower part of the jaw, forming a beard, and meets with scaled patterns on the face. The feet and shins are clad in scale as well, sporting four tactile toes and long, sharp claws. From the shoulders protrude a pair of large wings where lightweight, semi-transparent scales grow in place of feathers from a hollow structure. From the front of each wing protrude the same kind of spikes that run down the spine. The dragon also sports two long, fur-clad ears and a pair of antler-like horns that sweep backwards toward the neck. From the poll grows a crest of scales similar to those on the wings, resembling feathers and move to reflect moods. The eyes are feline with vertical pupils and irises that leave no whites to be seen.
