The fastest way to go and find out would be to just leave, to abandon the herd and his lover. But he would not do that. Instead, he would fight, crush a foe, and then go find out. With that in mind, the towering figure of the hybrid stallion stalked through the woods, until he stood within a broad clearing. It was necessary, considering his size and lowered degree of mobility otherwise.
A low, bellowing cry rumbled forth from his chest, summoning some daring invader, alerting still slumbering allies. "We shall not stand by idly today, fools." He rumbled to himself, waiting for his opponent to show his or her face. But he half expected to go unchallenged.
