Somnus was previously a God of Sleep and Dreams (meaning of his name.) His Multiple Personality Disorder did not fit the life of a God, it was unstable and he was unable to control it. His "good" side was fine and suited the life well, but his "bad" side often wreaked havoc, and after one too many times, the other Gods of the land teamed up together (as he was the most powerful god) and threw him out of his land. The other Gods, in the process of kicking him out, wiped his memory clean so now he has no idea what he has done, where he has been or who he is.
