Code:
[b]Character Name:[/b] Here
[b]Attack Number:[/b] x/3
[b]Attack:[/b] 1d14 rolled for a total of: YY + 1d2 rolled for a total: YY + XX (character's attack stat)
[b]Damage:[/b] 1d6 rolled for a total of: YY + XX (character's damage stat)

[i]If Attack > than opponent defense, attack hits.
If d14+d2 = 2, critical miss: take 1/2(damage) to yourself (if damage ends up with a .25 it gets rounded down)
If d14+d2 = 16, critical hit: opponent takes 6 + damage stat. This damage is best taken from one source, if realistically possible.[/i]

<hr>

(d14+d2 roll + A's attack stat) *>,=,<* [B]'s defense of (B's defense stat #), so the attack *HITS, MISSES*.
[B] takes (d6 roll + A's damage stat) points of damage from [A].

<b>[Challenger] HP: (HP #)</b>
<b>[Defender] HP: (HP #)</b>

Instructions:
- Copy and paste form into a new reply
- Type in the character's name into the appropriate field
- Repalce "YY" with the dice rolled on http://www.brockjones.com/dieroller/dice.htm
- Replace the "XX" with the character's attack state and damage stat respectively (these will be posted near the beginning of the fight)
- remove the space between the "slash" and the word "dice"
- Post!

*Please Note* you do not need to leave Helovia to roll die, the code will do it for you once you post.

Who can post:
- Admin not involved with the fight

When to post:
- After each character posts

Is it just for one attack?:
- No, this applies for the entire post, the character taking the damage gets to decide what attack (or all attacks) strikes where according to their defensive strategy

After you use the roll form and post it, you post again taking the information given from the roll to determine if the attack landed or missed, and how much damage was dealt, affecting the HP of the opponent.

Brackets [] signify a character's name needs to be placed. Delete brackets.
Parenthesis () signify a number needs to be placed. Delete parenthesis.
Asterisks ** signify one of the options within must be selected and the other removed. Delete asterisks.

A = The character attacking.
B = The character being attacked.

Challenger = whoever attacks first in the fight thread.
Defender = whoever defends first in the fight thread (cannot be whoever attacked first).

Show the subtraction of the recent damage to the HP so the math is clear.
*Note: If the attack misses, no damage is taken by either party.

An example of a die roll thread being started.

1. All characters involved in the fight have their stats placed in the first post of the thread for easy reference.
2. The die roll form is posted with the correct information input - this is assuming an attack has been made in the battlefield, IC portion.
3. The results form is posted to show the impact of the die roll's numbers given, as to whether or not the attack landed, and if so, how it affected the HP of a character.

Character Name: Tom
Attack Number: (1/4)
Attack: 1d14 + 1d2 rolled for a total of: 15 (9) + 1 (1) + 6.5 (character's attack stat)
Damage: 1d6 rolled for a total of: 3 (3) + 8 (character's damage stat)

If Attack > than opponent defense, attack hits.
If d14+d2 = 2, critical miss: take 1/2(damage) to yourself
If d14+d2 = 16, critical hit: opponent takes 6 + damage

16.5 > Hank's defense of 9.5, so the attack HITS.
Hank takes 11 points of damage from Tom.

Tom HP= 46
Hank HP= 42-11= 31
