Spikes that dripped in blood proved her strength, there was so much blood...EVERYWHERE. It dripped, faster and faster! A small puddle formed, then a small lake, then a lager lake then a river. The red river twisted, turned, rushed and dragged unwilling bodies beneath it's surface. A dancer's body spun, leaped, twirled and slashed through the blood. Stones blended in with the heavy splashes, their colour matched the river and the lake. A dragon bone crown rested on her brow, it's black glassy spikes were sharp enough to pierce the heart of a stag. The once solid black colour now dripped in red, it now dripped in the blood of her enemies. They were not just any enemy though! Oh no! The blood that dripped from her precious crown was the blood of KINGS. Where were the knights from the tales now? Racing to defend their kings? Eris herself killed them all, Dragons, Demons and Devils blessed her with every blow, every stab every drop of blood that she spilt made her stronger, faster, wiser and much more lethal. Their blood had a purple sheen, oh this was royal blood for sure.

Walking through the bloody hallways, the crowned Blood Empress was a bare figure. A simple equine? No. She was so much more than that. Her crown made her more royal than any unicorn or pegasi. Her fiery hair flipped over in the wind, so much power was contained inside her, the power of dragon's breath that had burned so many for her foes. The gold of kings made her pelt, the spots on her hide made from the death of her enemies and prey alike. Her eyes as blue as the ocean blinked once and she saw the forest materialise in front of her. She was not in the room of kings, bathing in their blood. The Empress of Blood was simply in a forest with no idea of how to get home. Not that it mattered, soon her mind would take control of reality and shape it into the way she wished the world was. Soon the fog would cloud her eyes again, her soul and mind would be whisked away to a different realm and when this one simple amazing thing happened, nothing could touch her. Nothing could hurt her psychically or mentally.

Pausing to look back over her shoulder she noticed the simple water in the lake, it wasn't a glory bath at all. At least now she was clean. Glancing at the shining red rocks at the bottom of the pool, they easily caught her attention. They looked they little droplets of blood...she wanted some for her crown! Moving back to the water the small mare peered into the depths. A few of the smaller ones had washed up to the shore. Bending down the mare stuck her nose into the water and picked a few of them up in her mouth. Leaving the water she stopped beside a tree where she laid them out for the world to see, no doubt a dragon would fly over head and see the stones and merge them into her crown. Knowing that all she had to do was leave the stones where they were, the mare turned promptly and began to strut away from her new precious stones.

What was with this mare and her fascination with blood you ask? It was the one thing that proved everyone to be the same, made everyone on this world equal. However Eris did not bleed out blood or feel pain! The very thought was insulting. This mare was a Goddess, an Empress and a Leader. When she was opened up Eris bled with lies, promises, broken words and death. Would touching her liquid end up killing you? Maybe.

They built my city on top of a grave,
Now the dead roam the street like a rotting parade,
Quarantined and forgotten for days,
These are the stories of those who have gotten away

Seriously, what was the point of hiding in the depths of the deep woods, if he was being found every other day? The stallion flattened his ears to his skull as he caught wind of a mare coming his way through the forest. He didn't move other than to stamp a back hoof in annoyance. He realized it was birdsong and the ladies tended to gravitate towards the opposite sex during this season, but really. What was the point of hiding himself if they kept coming to run into his secret place?! Obviously, it wasn't a very good secret place.

Stupid, god damn lousy bitches. He thought with some intense levels of annoyance at the faceless bitch waltzing in on his private area. Thoroughly irritated, he watched as she rustled into the open, obviously unaware of his presence. All he had to do, however, was lick and ear...

Ah, there we go. The illusion of invisibility shattered and his form would suddenly pop into place. He was out of her way, but within obvious sight. "You lost, kitten?" He nickered, his tone light, and yet underlined by a thousand years of menacing darkness. He fixed her with a none-too-gentle glare. One that clearly stated that she wasn't welcomed here, although he had no true means with which to chase her off. He wasn't about to let that weakness show.

When the wind change to ruffle his mane, it carried his scent towards her, giving away his position if his voice, and random appearance had not already done so. He wouldn't blame her if she'd missed his appearance, the trees grew so thick here, that it was almost completely dark, even the rays of the sun could not penetrate to the forest floor. At least not when it was still shining everyday. Without it, the moonlight stood no chance, and his eyes gleamed like chips of Kryptonite in the dim light.
