There had been many faces this painted stallion, with broad fields of rich white and cherry red chestnut, and they all seemed to go on their way in life forgetting about the unicorn. Some nights the horned stud would cry himself asleep or couldn’t gain solace most nights, for his mind had been plagued by nightmares that never seemed to fade away. These terrible dreams stemmed from a singular traumatic event in his youth that forever changed him. Not a drastic change for the boy was still able to smile and laugh, but in the shadows of a smile lurked hidden demons. Not able to get out because the horned horse kept them chained up until it became too much to host them any longer. Being himself all he wanted to do was love everyone show them there was more to life than pain. His parents left him that legacy to care for the lost and wounded souls so when the time came death would wisp him away to eternal bliss.
Despite love being Castiel’s mission the boy didn’t stick around large crowds feeling them to be rather threatening, but when he could get a horse alone his job became easier. Of course out of result of this the horse did have many one night stands it surprised him he had yet a child be born out of such encounters. For that the stallion was thankful he wanted a family not a foal out of a casual meaningless fling. Besides that ethically it would defy the very moral code he was trying to live by, but thus far failed at.
Coming into the fields he had often found isolation the stud saw another horse off in the distance. Part of him wanted to turn around and run he grew tired have the same pattern of conversing with others, but being himself the stallion nickered a greeting then bent his neck low to rub on some beautiful flowers. Waiting for the lady to come the unicorn stallion just thought about things in a bit of a daze.
