Name: Zephyr or Ephst
Age: 5 Years
Species: Unicorn
Coloration or design: Rabicano, similar to this google image. She has a scar that spells 'Heartless' over her neck on the left side, so she tries to hide with with her mane. Her basis colour is bay with swirls and dots of white patterned around her neck, legs and chest. Her eyes are bright blue. Her horn is straight and serrated down the front. The base is black, which fades into cerulean blue toward the top.

Personality: Two sided; tries to come across as happy, flirty and free, yet inside she feels trapped and powerless to her own demons. She feels empty, having been a 'toy' and treated as an object. Freedom is something she acts, but does not feel. She is, simply; lost. When angered, she is very quiet, her eyes and face speaking volumes for her. Few penetrate her mask.

She is filled with a fear of herself. She suffered from 'blackouts' that make her unable to control her own actions, and have in the past resulted in her causing harm and death to people she normally would not hurt. Her fear of letting herself black out makes her shy away from getting close to others, to protect them.

History: Raised far from Helovia in the deserts of Azaria, she was a 'slave'. In Azaria, magic was seen as a curse and horses rules#d with an iron hoof. Magic users were captured and 'controlled' for fear they might 'be influenced by demons'. in truth, the non-magic leaders only feared being overthrown, and were scared of the power magic gave potential rivals. So magic users were cut down from a young age, but some did survive.

hose that were seen as 'desirable' and obedient were trained. Zephyr/Ephst was taken in from a young age; stolen from her mother who was cut down before her, and was forced to live with her new master. Having a magic slave gave her master power and status, and her power was unusual. Her wind abilities let her cut without touch, and her inner demons separated her from pain; she would 'black out' if the damage was too much, and would attack without hesitation or thought, without any regard for her own or anyone's health. Her master soon realized this mindless effect could be forced by starving her before a fight. So this abuse endured as she fought her masters rivals slaves, killing many in the ring without mercy, yet when she awake from her black outs, she regretted every blood torn figure her eyes settled upon.

She was scarred with her new name; Heartless. The scar was torn into her throat for the world to see that she was a pet. She seemingly suited the name, but one saw through it.

She never got his name, but before a fight when she was being starved to induce her psychosis, he would come and hand her food he had stolen. He was a servant, working to keep his younger siblings safe, but 'Heartless' knew nothing about him. All she knew was that he was her guardian angel, and though at first she rejected his kindness, she soon fell irreversibly in love with him.

When her master found out the colt was stealing food, he ordered his eyes gouged out. He brought Heartless, ordering his slave to tear his eyes from his skull with her horn. She refused, for the first time in her life rejecting the wishes of her lord. Angered, he ordered a guard to do the deed but 'Heartless' protected the colt. She fought with all her strength and with all of her love, but she was fighting alone.

Then, she blacked out.

When she awoke, her master lay dead, as well as several guards. Others surrounded her, but backed away uneasily. That was when her eyes settled upon the corpse of him. She killed him.

She fled the city, but no one chased her. They feared her.

Magic: Wind, Dark; the ability to manipulate wind to cause harm, can cut skin with a swish of a horn without touching flesh, or push with blunt force by kicking her legs out, for example.
