Flapping furiously through the darkness, the warrior female scanned the area with narrowed eyes. There had never been a time of more fury for her. First she had a nightstand, God knows how with a freaking stallion she didn't even know, resulting in a child. The fiery outcast wanted to join the Edge-- not just for the sake of Kodoven, but also because...well she was sick me tired of not having a herd.
Because living in a herd did not restrict her freedom to wander around the world and continue getting in brawls and meeting others. But this wasn't the worst of it. Due to her spunky personality, she just had to accidently make enemies with one of the inhabitants. Great! Just great! The voice sarcastically jabbed at her mind. Now, the mare wasn't ready to have a child. She didn't know their basic needs, and she was trying to be a good parent, but she failed.
Her poor blind boy wandered off and "apparently" made friends with a mare named Confutatis, that basically stole him away from her. Gritting her teeth together, Storm let out a little growl of fury. She tried so hard to be a good mother. Couldn't she just walk away and leave her son in the hands of a safer home? But no, she couldn't. That would be beating a terrible parent, and total abandonment.
What hatred would Kodoven feel towards her as he grew up, knowing that his mom sucked, and didnt even fight for him. He's in better hands, a calm soothing voice arose in her mind. But no, she was going to find Confutatis, and try to get her so back, or come to some sort of agreement to where she was able to always visit him, and let the other experienced mare take care of him. I truly love you, my child.
At least he was safe with her during the dark times. Sighing, the mare blinked watching the beautiful rays if dawn paint the sky many colors. Sighing deeply, the pained Pegasus spotted two figures below, and dove gracefully down to meet them. Blinking her eyes, she walked up to the filly figure and stared at the Andalusian stallion.
"Hello", her vocals sounded almost curt, but she shook it off. Don't be mad at them. They didn't do anything. Flipping a strand of hair out of ear eyes, the mare tried to approach in a...kinder way. "I'm Storm. What are you two doing out here?" Her voice sounded snappy and awkward, and at the end, the moody mare plastered a half heart smile on her maw.
