Absence Board Rules

The [ABSENT] prefix is for when you do not have computer/internet access for for a certain amount of time.

1. One absence thread per player.
-- It's a permanent thread updated as needed.

2. You are only deemed absent if the [ABSENT] prefix is applied to the thread.
-- You must include the names of all of your characters and your OOC name.
-- You should include leaving dates and expected return dates (best estimates).
-- You cannot make any posts.
-- You cannot challenge/steal or be challenged/stolen.
-- You cannot participate in any IC or OOC sitewide plots or events until you return.

3. When you return from absent remove the prefix and bump the thread.
-- If you post ICly without changing the absent prefix, you are considered to be back and are eligible to be challenged/stolen.

4. Only the player who is absent and Admin may change the status of an absence.
-- If you cannot access the site to put yourself as absent, an Admin must be contacted to do so. If your only contact is another site member, tell them and they in turn will tell admin - proof is required.
