It was with hesitance she came, quiet and hoping to stay well-hidden from most. Aurelia had wanted to avoid this place like the plague, but with a family in the works, she needed a safe place to live. Her mate, Destry, resides in the Dragon's Throat, but Aurelia does not like Gaucho, in any way, shape, or form. She finds herself uncertain if the Throat is truly the best place for a family, thus she has come just to see. Would she be escorted out immediately or would Kahlua (or whoever rules now) listen to what the aureate girl wants to say? No doubt Aurelia had made enemies here, but she has come to apologize. And maybe she's also come to visit her companion's grave, hoping the dull throb of a lost bond will ebb away by nearing her body, despite the fact that she's dead, by the hands of Kahlua. In a sense, Aurelia thought they were equal, in fact, in the back of her mind, she thought Kahlua was at more of a fault. Kahlua could've lost the title of Queen, but she didn't. Aurelia lost something far worst. She lost her only companion and half of her soul. From the moment Shilva's blood stopped running, Aurelia had been spun into a downward spiral of depression, anxiety, and hopelessness. What did Kahlua have? Perhaps now she was only more wary of her need to train, and perhaps she acquired a scar or two. Honestly, if Aurelia could do everything again, the only thing she would change is leaving the Throat as a yearling when she had first arrived. It was only downhill from there, and a season or two ago was rock bottom for. Finally, things were looking up.

Standing at the border, she spotted where she had buried Shilva. The grave was only a square foot and snow had covered it, grass had grown, the grave blended seamlessly into the rest of the environment. But Aurelia remembers. Remembers digging that grave, remembers crying until she couldn't anymore. The thought of her companion bring a warm and fuzzy feeling to her gut, but thinking of the day she died is similar having deep wound, getting it healed, then right before it's totally healed, cutting it open, only this time deeper. She shook the thoughts from her mind in attempt to keep her mood high as she thought about how she would go about this. She wasn't really sure how to attract the attention of the leads and no one else, if at all possible. The last thing she wanted right now was a herd full of angry horses with her on their hitlist. If it didn't work out here, Aurelia would go to the Falls and see if they would take her and her ragtag family, though without even a second thought, she knew Destry would hate the idea. Not that long ago, when Aurelia was their prisoner, she had found Destry there, sad and alone. She had talked about her bitch-mom and so much more. For us, there was a connection immediately. And the fact that she left the Falls without batting an eyelash was enough information to know. The Hidden Falls was not an option. What was left for them? Aurelia had tried to visit the Basin before, but she had been challenged and had become a prisoner. She was not the right bloodline for their land, and she would not risk sending a pregnant unipegasus hybrid that could be pregnant with a plain pegasus. She would not have it.
