All this thankfulness, it made her feel loved and hated all at once. The fact that people felt the need to repay her for her actions made her seem selfish. That was a trait she did not want labeled onto her. But her attention swung to Tembovu, who seemed to have some sort of idea. However, his idea quickly soured in her mind. The Basin… even with a tentative alliance between them, she was not comfortable with sending Serenity alone. Technically she was not part of the Edge- and she would not let another become wounded just because they don’t have an association with the north.

”We can’t send her alone, Tembovu.” Her voice was firm, almost demanding in tone. ”I don’t want to risk another gaining an unnecessary injury.” He would have no idea what she was referencing to. Maybe he’d pick it up, and ask about it later, but for now, there was no reason to reveal that her gruesome scar was the result of an unfortunate encounter. But she promptly turned her attention back to Serenity. This whole problem didn’t seem to be solving- instead more questions were forming into a giant whirlwind of confusion. ”And by the way Serenity, it is all right. I don’t need a repayment from you. Seeing you with your memories back would be the greatest gift.” For once Elsa was sincere in her words, offering a small comforting smile to the mare. ”I know I mentioned the Throat before… they have the God of Sun. He deals with Light magic, which is known to heal. I know Gaucho too, and he would treat you with respect and get you the help you need. Or anyone in the Edge for that matter.” She sighed in relief as she let that off her chest. Elsa was shaking inside at the thought of sending her to the Basin. ”Either way you choose, or don’t choose, the Edge will provide you with shelter and protection should you find yourself needing it.”  There was always the possibility of her staying here, but when her memories returned, she would probably want to go back to where she came from. If it was the Edge, great! If not, then Elsa would just have to make her visits to see her friends in far places. "And if you still need me as an escort, just ask. Tembovu's big enough to run this gig by himself for a while." She smirked, and he would probably know full and well this was her only way of avoiding "talking and being nice" all the time.
