Evers watched the new stallion as he listened to the others short reply to his question. He spoke in an accent that Evers had never heard before. Intrigued, Evers was about to take the initiative before another approached. This colt was from the Foothills but the blue had never seen him before. Not that it was unusual, the herd seemed to be growing larger by day and Evers was a shy one.
The colt was a bold Evers thought, it made him wish he could remember his own childhood. Feel how it was to be that brave in the face of newcomers and friends alike. Alas! The small stallion lived for only one purpose as Mandrake's son. Smiling at Varath in greeting first, Evers turned to the chestnut once more "I am Evers of the the land you now stand. You are welcome to call this place home but..." He thought for a moment on how to phrase it, "no racism to other species is tolerated." It was the reason he and his brothers had been allowed here. They even accepted his mother which Evers found a feat, although how long they could put up with her was another question.
Evers waited for a response now, intrigued to know this odd speaking stallion's name. Just like Varath asked.
