Of course, Antaa would rather spread her wings and fly up there. Her wings spread, extending flame as she went and arced across the face of the cliff side toward the top where lush grasses wait in a looming fog. She chirped cheerfully to him as he followed her – a combination of greys and blacks as his wings carried him high into the sky. As she dove down to the earth, her wings folded to her sides as she dropped. Then, right before the last minute, she extended her wings to glide and circle. Meanwhile, Darwin knew he wouldn’t be able to do such a maneuver, and so proceeded to land upon the earth with a thunderous sound. Soon, he managed to stop as Antaa’s circling ended and she landed among his withers – her wings folding up and emitting an excited flame across her wings, feathers ruffling and chirping in her pride.
Darwin chuckled to himself, mentally motioning toward the phoenix of all the things she was learning and how she was seemingly just showing off at this point. However, his gaze found an antlered mare among the lush grasses. He paused for a moment before dipping his head to her with a soft smile. “Sorry, I didn’t see you there!” He called out, hoping that their rather immediate appearance hadn’t frightened the woman.
