As you move along the snowy terrain you are not alone. In the bows of the barren trees there sits a peculiar bird, one that appears to emanate with light. It opens its mouth and the most beautiful tune is emit. It appears you have captured its attention. It swoops down near you, alighting atop the smooth jut of your withers. It exudes a soothing warmth from its avian body, and as you study it, it would appear as though it is not a bird, but something else entirely. Along its avian contours you can make out small points of light, as if stars in a constellation. It perches atop you curiously for a moment before flying to a branch not far away, seemingly attempting to lead you to somewhere specific. It moves from branch to branch. Would you follow? |
