Aryel noticed the meadow in the distance, and wondered how far they were going. She was hardly tired, though. Just like when they were running, pegasi could fly for a long time. She increased her speed again, trying to overtake the bird. The cold air whooshed by, chilling the mare and filling her with excitement. There was something in the cold air and the bright sky and just flying fast that set her blood pumping. She tossed her head as she trailed the bird, throughly enjoying herself.
She watched as the bird flew up, completing a slow rotation before dropping back down. She wasn't sure she could do the same, though. Somehow, she couldn't visualize herself flipping over like that. Still, it was worth a try. Tilting her wings, she gained altitude and slowly rolled, spreading her wings as far as they would go for balance. She wobbled a little as she completed the spin and righted herself, but she had copied the bird's trick. "You're not getting away just yet." she taunted it, increasing her speed yet again.
