ORANGEMOON :: Year Eight
 ORANGEMOON cools off the lands with a a viscious force. Colder than normal, a sign of things to come during Frostfall, Helovia is bathed in a rich tropical lushness - albiet a cold one. The coastlines of the Dragon's Throat are pelted constantly by tidal waves, and the desert climate is humid but chilly. Ice begins to form early in the Aurora Basin leaving the winding trails slick and dangerous. The mists of the World's Edge coat everything in a glistening crystalline shine which encourages mould to grow everywhere. The Spectral Marsh is the only area which remains fertile, blissfully temperature and lush.

WEAVER, Corporal of the Aurora Basin, is a relatively recent addition to Helovia and has taken it by storm. Branded with the seal of Death on her chest, intrigue and interest follow both her past and present. Though she is assuredly beautiful, her sometimes sharp personality reveals that there is more to this uni-peg hybrid than meets the eye. Proving herself able on the battlefield in the Basin’s warrior ranks, we can’t wait to see her test her mettle against the looming Kaos happenings! Congratulations! |

Is the creature whom I seek A sunkissed night, a darkened day Could be a reference to her being a follower of the sun, yet a member in the land of the moon. Pale shadow rough, yet sleek She is of pale coloring and is kind of sleek. Delicate in theory, though in practice you are not She looks delicate, but has the ability to have her entire body engulfed in flames that burn whoever they touch. As a dragon, she’s covered in rough scales, but Lace’s profile describes her body as “vaguely reminiscent of a cat’s,” “supple,” and “agile”—in other words, sleek. Delicate in theory, though in practice you are not: Name reference. His name, “Lace,” implies delicacy, but “his body holds several scars as testimony to his experience on the battlefield” (quoted from profile)—clearly, he is no frail thing, but an experienced fighter. Not to mention grulla is more of a medium to light color not dark, though it can have dark points. Pale shadow rough, yet sleek: Companion reference. His “shadow,” Fajira, is a white dragon. As a dragon, she’s covered in rough scales, but Lace’s profile describes her body as “vaguely reminiscent of a cat’s,” “supple,” and “agile”—in other words, sleek. 0| [Companion ref] I would never have thought the shadow referred to the companion. I see your thought behind it, but it was just too vague for the mind to connect the dots on its own. Also scales are actually smooth for the most part :) Delicate in theory, though in practice you are not: Name reference. Lace is a dark color “sunkissed” with gold dusting. 0 | As this was based on contradictions, I don't feel this was a solid clue. It seemed to be pointing to some combination or several colors, made me think more paint than any solid color. However, wasn't outright misleading. Pale shadow rough, yet sleek: Companion reference. His “shadow,” Fajira, is a white dragon. As a dragon, she’s covered in rough scales, but Lace’s profile describes her body as “vaguely reminiscent of a cat’s,” “supple,” and “agile”—in other words, sleek. +1 | Companion reference. Delicate in theory, though in practice you are not: Name reference. His name, “Lace,” implies delicacy, but “his body holds several scars as testimony to his experience on the battlefield” (quoted from profile)—clearly, he is no frail thing, but an experienced fighter. +1 | Name reference. Something you might want to do in the future is include more than 3 clues, that way you still have a chance to pass even if some of the clues don't necessarily contribute to the 'scoring' as in this case. Try to be a bit more specific, and I advise avoiding fluff.
