The mare was another matter, and Meg could not help but smile at the effervescent attitude that shone out of the newcomer. She spoke with a certain easy friendliness that Meg would have liked to possess on more than one occasion; it reminded her a bit of her daughter’s gentle courtesy and she couldn’t help but smile back. “Well met, Dasmine! Of course you would be a welcome addition to the Dragon’s Throat and I am pleased that Caneo has brought you to us.” Megaera gave a nod to the stallion in thanks for his efforts before continuing for Dasmine. “Our Diviner, Maran and the apostles are tasked with keeping the histories, perhaps if you’d like I could introduce you. I’m sure my little Asavvi will hardly let you rest until she’s heard all your tales twice.”
She paused long enough to glance back across the water. “We’re an island nation, but the God of the Sun’s has created a bridge so that our flightless brethren may come and go as the wish.” The bay stretched out the feathers of her left wing and gestured with a scared nose at the glint of gold from a small key tucked between the secondaries. “I can escort you across not but we’ll be sure to get the crafters to get you your own as soon as they’re able.”
[ooc: Chime, Would you like Dasmine to be just a Citizen for now?]
