Do not let them change you.
Send your waves out far and wide,
Of course, the threshold was always vibrant with life. It beamed and pulsed with every little sway of the wind. Kiada shouldn’t have been surprised when another creature appeared. This one was winged like the new ebony Pegasus. And she was quiet in her approach, but still the filly noticed her as she landed, coming to a stop somewhat nearby the both of them. “Oh hello.” Kiada’s ears flickered to the mare with a small nod like she had seen her mother do and beamed a smile to the lighter pelted mare. Then, her attention returned to the new creature, her oceanic eyes taking in everything the mare had. From her pelt, dark as night, mimicking Kiada’s own black face and legs as if someone had stuck just those parts of her into ink, split apart by bright ivory that stood stark in contrast to the overwhelming amount of black. Kiada and the newcomer had that in common, but the filly carried a bit more color to her. Instead of being black and white like Skeyti, complete with a blanket appaloosa that shadowed her rump, Kiada was given a brilliant gold hue to her body. Still, she watched in silence as the mare looked between the two of the Helovians.

The time went on and it had almost begun to be awkward in this exchange. Kiada was hanging onto staring at the mare until she said something. The flames upon her back swirling and shifting into various creatures depicting her mood as she waited. And finally, the mare’s attention was bright and seemed to snap to her. Pride billowed out from the filly, almost as if she had won an unspeakable war between who was going to bring the mare home – if only she knew how wrong she could be. But she stood tall, nevertheless, as lions began to prance across her spine. Khairi to her side was transfixed by the newcomers, shifting his raptor sharp attention between the two of them every few seconds – never letting someone get the upper hand to his bonded. But finally, the mare spoke, and it was something Kiada wasn’t prepared for.

Help.

Kiada’s proud stance deflated immediately as she glanced to the larger Pegasus mare that had landed after the filly had found the ebony mare. It carried almost a look of what’s she talking about? When she finally returned her gaze back to Skeyti, she cocked her head to the side, ears perked to the mare as worry and confusion crossed her brow all the same. A few seconds later, she assessed the situation the best her tiny young mind could do and ended up stepping ever slowly closer to the mare. She stayed a decent distance away, still, but was closer than before so she could look upon the mare a bit more closer – wondering if there were possible wounds that the filly couldn’t see from the distance. “What’s wrong? Do you need a healer?” She questioned, cocking her head again. Nowhere in the tiny filly’s mind did she think that the mare had been talking about the daughter of a King and a Thief. No, she simply thought the Pegasus needed help, and Khairi was prepared to glide upon the trees in search of one – hopefully the wonderful healers from her homeland.

"Talk."
let them learn the hard way —
that you can’t command the tide.

@Skeyti @Sabia

Little Kia has no idea wtf Skeyti is talking about :D

IT'S SAID SHE'S MADE OF STORM CELLS
AND A WILD WOLF'S HUNGRY HEART,
THAT SHE'S LEARNT THE LIGHTNING'S SECRET
TO RIPPING DARKENED SKIES APART.
